AU4 Championship 2026
The AU4 Championship represents the definitive bridge between elite karting and the global stage of professional open-wheel racing. As the sanctioned Australian home of the FIA’s global pathway to Formula 1, AU4 is more than just a racing series—it is a comprehensive ecosystem designed to identify, nurture, and elevate the next generation of motorsport talent.
The 2026 Championship
Two Classes, One Grid
The AU4 Championship features a two-class structure that ensures accessibility while maintaining the highest international standards:
Featuring the Tatuus F4-T421, the same chassis used in European and UAE championships. This class is for drivers aged 15+ and serves as the ultimate benchmark for those targeting F3, F2, and F1.
Utilising the proven Mygale M14-F4, this class allows drivers as young as 14 to begin their car-racing careers early. It also provides a dedicated home for “Masters” competitors looking to experience the thrill of wings-and-slicks racing at a national level.
The championship fight is well and truly alive in 2026 with both young gun talents, Marco Manson and Jensen Marold tie on points heading into Round 3 for Gen2 while Koby Wilson leads by 32 points over Jackson Culver in the Gen1 Class! Round 3 kicks off in Tailem Bend at the Bend Motorsport Park July 17-19
