A new summer formula for the southern hemisphere.
Three rounds. Three circuit configurations. One venue. The Australian Formula Series exists to put Tatuus F4 mileage into the hands of drivers preparing for 2027 European, Australian and Asian F4 campaigns, in December, when the northern season is over.
Promoted by AGI Sport and run to current FIA Formula 4 technical regulations, AFS is a condensed December programme: an official practice day ahead of each round, then four championship races. Ten track days inside eighteen calendar days.
Everything happens at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia, the longest FIA-graded permanent circuit in the southern hemisphere. It has seven layouts. The series uses three of them, which means teams unload once and drivers learn three circuits.
Entry is open to international and Australian teams alike. Car rental, container logistics, technical support and scrutineering are all available, so an overseas team can fly in and race.

Round 1 opens with a Thursday test. Every round runs official practice, qualifying and four championship races. All times Australian Central Daylight Time.
